6/14/13 Cambridge Science Festival “Gluten, Dairy, Nuts, Oh My! Why are Food Allergies on the Rise?”

Today we filmed the Cambridge Science Festival presentation: “Gluten, Dairy, Nuts, Oh My! Why are Food Allergies on the Rise?” At the Harvard- MIT Broad Institute. We filmed the presentations given by allergy and health experts Dr. Ramnik Xavier and Dr. Gary Schefler, as well as a question and answer session using top of the line editing and filming equipment at the Broad Institute (pictured below). Afterward, we spoke with some of Boston’s top chefs on the importance of allergy awareness. These chefs, including Jody Abrams, Executive Chef of Rialto and Richard Vellante, Executive Chef of Legal Seafood (pictured below), presented attendees of the presentation with delicious gluten free treats following the show.
