Simmons College
Upon closing their $100 million capital campaign, “Making Education Work,” Simmons College hired Digital-11 to produce a video to highlight their fundraising success to be shown at a celebratory event. Digital-11 suggested producing a second, shorter video to be sent to the Simmons on-line community. This became the “My Simmons” video, a rich summary that celebrates the spirit of Simmons, and a beautiful accent piece to complement the originally-intended, longer form video.
My Simmons
“My Simmons,” the accent piece to complement the longer campaign video below, incorporates the same footage but aims for a more economic viewing experience for a Simmons alumni or donor. This is one of the many ways Digital-11 can help stretch a video budget to meet multiple viewing needs.

This second piece, in longer form, was shown at Simmons’ celebratory dinner and highlighted exemplary Simmons philanthropists and contributors to a large audience of alumni and donors.

The Center for Women and Business at Bentley University
In 2012, Digital-11 was brought on to produce an online toolkit for The Center for Women and Business (CWB) at Bentley University. Unknown to both parties at the time, this marked the beginning of a fruitful, 3-year collaboration.

Digital-11 went on to be hired by the CWB to produce their “Best Practices Forums,” which brought in experts in gender and the workplace. In the ensuing years, the CWB decided to forgo the online tool-kit, and decided to produce, in its place, a compilation of videos that would be helpful to the many companies looking to understand the advantages of increasing the number of women in top managerial and C-suite positions, as well as creating pay equity and a more gender-sensitive workplace. Digital-11 found ways to amortize the cost of those initial toolkit videos by using that previously shot footage in innovative, unexpected ways for the compilation.

Digital-11 has since worked with Bentley to create many other informational videos which are to be incorporated with their new website this Fall of 2015, while Digital-11 also worked with the CWB to present the insights at their recent, groundbreaking collaboration with previous Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick entitled “The Corporate Challenge,” which aims to help Massachusetts companies alleviate gender inequality in the workplace and put forth recommendations for measurable action within company structures.

The CWB will be using the longer version of these “Corporate Challenge” videos to help recreate “The Corporate Challenge” in other states. We are proud to help support the CWB’s ongoing mission to help women in the workplace and excited to see it spread to other states via video.
